Vestments & Stoles
The Ecclesiastical Art Department no longer makes Custom-fitted Albs. However, our Sisters have trained Lucrecia DaSilva of St. Louis, MO to make the alb shown on this page. She can be contacted by phone at 314-621-1332 during the day and at 314-773-6272 during evenings and weekends.
Vestments made include chasubles and dalmatics. Many designs are available for vestments in addition to those shown.
| Chasubles are Gothic style. Some designs are embroidered directly on the chasuble (A). Other designs are embroidered on an orphrey of like or contrasting fabric. Orphrey styles are necklace (B), straight (C), broad (D), or Y shape (E). Chasubles may be made with a collar in style 1 or 2. |  |
| Dalmatics have a decorative band on the sleeves. Orphrey styles are side bars with or without center cross bar (F) or center straight (G). |  |
Prices for chasubles and dalmatics ordinarily range from $300-$1000 depending upon the style and the choice of embroidered design.
| Mitres are handmade and may be plain or embroidered. A plain white mitre is $375. Embroidered mitres ordinarily range from $450-$550. |   |
| Preaching Stoles are ordinarily 4 1/4 inches wide and 50 inches long, measured from the center back seam. However they can be sized to fit the needs of the client. The standard neckline is mitered on the outside and rounded against the neck. Designs may be placed chest high or at the bottom of the stole. |   |
| Deacon Stoles are 5 inches wide and are individually fitted. The following measurements are needed: 1. Shoulder slant

Over 160 stole designs are available. Selected designs are shown for the various liturgical seasons. Each preaching stole has a machine-embroidered cross at the center back. The cross is placed on the shoulder of the deacon stole.
Prices
The price range for a stole is ordinarily $100-$200 depending upon the embroidery designs chosen. A preaching stole without embroidery is $80. A plain deacon stole is $100.
