Let us pray
That the Spirit of Pentecost
Fill our hearts

With a new breath of confidence
     To trust in God’s loving plan
     For each of us,
     Beloved daughters and sons

And breath of courage
     To step out of what is known
     To what is possible
     So that we may find new steps
    In the road that builds your kingdom among us 

With the disciples we walked the dusty roads with Jesus
     We trusted the good news
     We cried at the cross
     We wondered at the empty tomb 

And now we offer you the days ahead
     Transform our lives one step today
     And another tomorrow.
